Memoir - Part 31, A Deviation

March 17, 2016

I apologize for the deviation from my weekly memoir post. After listening to President Obama’s speech nominating Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court, and subsequently listening to Merrick Garland’s acceptance speech, I was proud to hear such gracious narrative presented at a time when some have stooped so low. As I listened to these gentlemen, each one genuinely committed to serving this country with quality and integrity...exemplifying the elements of statesmanship and dedication to our constitution, that uphold the traditions of honesty, decency, and humility which are the hallmark of American values -- I am encouraged that the overall sanity of our country will prevail.

Next post, #32, back on track...
